As we know, the Lucky's grocery store located at 1750 Fulton St. is set to close on September 11, which is next Friday. Lucky's will be hosting a community open house at the store location on Wednesday, September 2 from 5-7 p.m.

The open house will provide customers and residents with an opportunity to engage with leaders from the company on questions or concerns they may have about the closure. As we know, the Lucky's was, for many, an important feature of the neighborhood, and we are sad to see it go.

We remain committed to incentivizing store openings and supporting businesses in our neighborhoods, as without them, we risk disproportionately harming our most vulnerable.
