Call to Order and Roll Call. a.   5:41 p.m. b.   Present: i.   Commissioner Blitchok, Zapata, Caldera present at Call to Order. ii.   Commissioner Crase joined at 5:48 pm iii.   Commissioner Bremeau joined at 5:55 pm 9.   Public commentary for items that are not on this agenda. a.   None 10.   Review and approve prior meeting minutes: a.   August 11, 2025 b.   December 8, 2025 c.   Motion made to approve both sets of meeting minutes by Commissioner Blitchok, Commissioner Zapata seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 11.   Review and approve Calendar Year 2-26 meeting schedule. a.   Commission Zapata made the motion to approve, Commissioner Caldera seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 12.   Discuss opening of Vice Chair position and ask for volunteer to take the role. a.   Commissioner Zapata volunteered to be Vice Chair. Commissioner Caldera moved to approve Commissioner Zapata as Vice Chair. Commissioner Blitchok seconded. The motion passed. Commissioners Caldera and Blitchok voted yes, Commissioner Zapata abstained. 13.   Discuss   the County’s legislative programs in Sacramento and Washington D.C., and how the CSW can engage with the Intergovernmental Relations Office (IGR)) on federal, State, and regional issues which affect and support intersectional gender equity. (Bremeau) a.   Discussion focused on reviewing bills supported by other organizations that support women and girls, ex. AAUW, CA CSW, VALOR US, CPEDV, CA SPEC, CA Women’s Caucus and creating a recommendation list from this review. b.   Determined that Commissioner Blitchok would compile a list of recommended bills to be forwarded to Commissioner Zapata. c.   Policy Committee will review this list at the next meeting. 14.   Receive any reports on legislative files, Board of Supervisors meetings, and/or ESDL reports. a.   None
