Hedding St.   |   San Jose, CA 95110 1.   Call to Order and Roll Call. Present: James Gibbons-Shapiro, Farah Hasnat, Nicole Steward. A quorum was present. The meeting was called to order at 9:01 AM. 2.   Public commentary for items that are not on this agenda. Margaret Petros made public comment asking that Lydia Harris be appointed to become a full member of the CAPC from being a Community Advisory Member. 3.   Review and approve prior meeting minutes of October 10, 2025. Hasnat made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by James Gibbons-Shapiro. Motion carried. 4.   Discuss / Approve Committee Business. a.   Discuss recruiting efforts to fill vacancies Discussed, including that the Clerk of the Board has an internal list of who the Clerk suggests fill the next vacancy on the CAPC   –   the Maddy List. Will obtain a copy of this non-legally binding, suggestion document from the Clerk of the Board. b.   Discuss progress on Mentors for new CAPC members Discussed the idea of having a few designated mentors for all. We will make a call for mentors. We will make a one-pager reference guide for new members. Member Steward will create a draft. 5.   Announcements. No announcements. 6.   Adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 AM
